I agree! This would be a very interesting plot twist whether the Satos were helping Amon willingly or unwillingly.

And I have to admit while I was trying to place this image of Tenzin airbending, the industrial looking background made me search through images of the Satomobile factory. Unfortunately, I couldn’t place it anywhere (though it’s most likely somewhere in the arena if it is in the next episode).

And it also looks similar to where “The Revelation” was held, so there’s no solid proof of a connection between Amon and the Satos, yet.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t want Korra and Asami to be BFF’s

Korra does not need Asami to:

  • Dress her in girly clothes
  • Fix her hair
  • Put make-up on her
  • Give her money
  • Choke her with sweetness
  • Pay for anything
  • Date her man

I’m fine with them being acquaintances but if Asami comes at Korra with any implication about changing who she is or changing her appearance..

Korra is beautiful the way she is and a badass. Asami better deal with it. If Korra wants to be more girly and asks Asami on her own, fine.


I’ve seen a lot of posts showing their possible friendship like this as well, but I don’t think that will necessarily have to be the dynamic. Asami is said to be tough, trained in martial arts, and a motorcycle racer, so they would probably relate more on that level.

As a Makorra shipper I’m still on the fence about whether I want Asami to be an equalist or part of the Krew.

On the one hand, I don’t want Mako to end up with Korra just because the girl he was in love with turned out to be “evil.” I’d rather him choose Korra over Asami because he genuinely likes her more.

On the other hand, I don’t want Korra and Asami to be friends because I feel like there would always be awkwardness if Mako and Asami broke up and Korra swooped in.

Suggestions?

I’m in the mood to draw some Legend of Korra doodles. Anybody have any scene suggestions? No smut, but I’ll draw any of the characters.
